All consultations with a doctor are by appointment. To make an appointment, simply telephone, use our online booking system or ask  our Care Navigators. If you have a condition that requires you to be seen urgently, our Team will give you an emergency appointment the same day or will leave a message for the Doctors to assess the urgency. We do not fit in patients without an appointment, apart from in an extreme emergency of course.

Although only one doctor’s name appears on your registration letter, you are a patient of the practice. You may therefore see, or be asked to see, any doctor working in the surgery who is available.  If you would like to see a particular doctor, please ask the Care Navigator, who will make every effort to accommodate your wishes.

The doctors take only emergency telephone calls during surgeries, as routine calls disrupt consultations and cause delay in the appointment system.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
